Swing Batter Batter Swing!

May 28th, 2009 by admin | Click here and tell us how you really feel.

2009 has been a good year for sports here in Possibility City and it just keeps getting better. Though I will confess to you that we are indeed a basketball city we enjoy America’s pastime as well. From the Louisville Bats to the Lady Cards softball team to the the just won their second consecutive Big East title University of Louisville baseball team to the Louisville Slugger itself, we enjoy the baseball. With that in mind I did just want to throw out a congratulations to the Cards on that Big East championship and wish them the best of luck tomorrow night in their opening NCAA tournament game.

Go Cards!

The Path to American Idol Success Started in Louisville

May 26th, 2009 by admin | Click here and tell us how you really feel.

I’m going to share a secret with you: I’ve never actually seen American Idol. Scandalous right? I tell you that so you know I’m not an expert on this show. What I do know though is that the Idol path for this year’s winner started in Louisville. Yep, it was the Louisville auditions for the show that first brought winner Kris Allen to the attention of Idol producers. It would be too easy to say something like “making dreams come true? It’s possible here.” But you know what? It’s so true.

Though the speakers for this year’s IdeaFestival have yet to be announced I’ve heard rumors from good sources and it looks like the lineup is going to be better than ever. I’m excited and want you to be too that’s why I’m giving you the early heads up to block out September 23-26, 2009 to be in Louisville. It’s totally where you need to be. You’ll hear interesting speakers, meet really nice people and have a very good time, I promise.
