Twenty thousand members of the National Rural Water Association are gathering at the Kentucky Expo Center Tuesday through Thursday of this week for H2O-XPO: The Industry Event for Water and Wastewater. Attendees will soak up a full slate of educational programs, a thousand exhibits, and more than 30 acres of outdoor equipment displays. The NRWA is the nation’s largest water and wastewater utility membership organization, providing a strong and respected voice in the Halls of Congress, insuring that rural and small systems have access to funding for construction, upgrades, and expansion of service areas.
Attendees will be awash in opportunities for extracurricular fun, including a golf scramble at Wildwood Country Club sponsored by the Kentucky Rural Water Association and a Rural Water Social Tuesday evening at the Galt House, as well as visits to the Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger factory, Louisville Stoneware, and a tour of Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World, where rural water achieves its crowning glory.

Be Seen Among Film Stars
Break out the tux and cape, put on the red sequined gown, and pick up a bag of popcorn. This evening, my friend, Possibility City welcomes the Louisville International Festival of Film — four days of nonstop filmic entertainment.
If you want your face to be seen among the glitterati on opening night, here’s the traditional FOL I-know-the-bouncer deal:
An Incredible Offer
Click here to visit the Famous Faces of Lou Web site, find the two stars hidden among the galaxy of local faces, then click the yellow button to send us their names. We’ll give away a pair of tickets to the tenth correct response. (“Why the tenth?” you ask. Because we don’t have eleven fingers, that’s why.)
An Almost-as-Incredible Offer
Being famous doesn’t automatically guarantee access, so we’ve arranged it so that Friends of Lou can get 20% discounts on LIFF tickets purchased online. Use the discount code “FOL” when buying tickets by clicking here.
Do you ever get the feeling that wherever you go in Louisville you’ll bump into someone who knows you? Of course you do. It’s Possibility City.
But do you know if these people are Friends of Lou like you? Well, Possibly not, particularly since we’ve added almost 2,000 new members during this month’s Friend of Lou-a-thon. So we created the Many Famous Faces of Lou Web site (http://www.facesoflou.com).
Click here to go to the site, upload your face, and be part of the living, growing, mug-packed tapestry of Lou-na-tics.
(By the way, even if you don’t upload your picture, we’re pretty sure you’ll see people there you know, so it’s worth a click just to drop in on old acquaintances.)
