Zappos Loves the Louisville Extreme Park

April 20th, 2009 by Michelle | Click here and tell us how you really feel.

I‘m going to let you in on one on the secrets of one of the great things about living in Louisville. Are you ready? OK, it’s this, Zappos has a shipping warehouse just outside of town. That means, normally, if I order shoes at 3PM on a Tuesday from Zappos, those shoes are delivered to my doorstop by 1PM on Wednesday, even if I take the free shipping option. Is it superficial of me to be so excited by the super fast delivery of shoes? Maybe but I’m ok with that.

I only decided to tell you this secret now because one of the Zappos bloggers is talking about how great the Louisville Extreme Park is and I thought it was only fair to let you know that Zappos adds to the great quality of life I find in Louisville.

Coolest Skate Park: Louisville Extreme Park
It offers about 40,000 square feet of skating terrain and the city is
in the planning process for a 20,000 square foot addition to the park.
The addition that is planned for this park will be a 20,000 square foot
skating pavilion that will have room for indoor skating features and
concessions
