Louisville is THE Place to Be July 10-12, 2009 (I’m Not Even Kidding)

Done? Good. I’ve got two reasons why you absolutely must be in Louisville July 10-12, 2009.

1. Forecastle has grown up in a big way and is bringing in some big headliners. I’m doing a little pseudo hippie nerd happiness dance at the thought of Widespread Panic, The Black Crowes, THe Black Keys and The Avett Brothers all at one festival. At one festival on the riverfront in beautiful downtown Louisville. Man, that’s going to be cool. July 10-12, 2009. Buy tickets.

2. Mark it 8, Dude. The 8th Annual Lebowski Fest will once again be bringing that unique brand of Lebowski awesomeness to life July 10 & 11, 2009.

Tickets aren’t on sale yet for the actual fest but you can go ahead and book your hotel room. That may seem a little backwards but dude, it’s the Lebowski way.
