The video is smartly done, compared to the equivalent c. 1979 when I was there, but for those of us who have been away for a while, the i.d.’s of the deponents don’t go without saying. Some are standing by signage that i.d.’s their org and one would assume they were the CEO or Supt. or Judge or whatever, but even that isn’t names. “Captioned for the absentee friends.”
Good point. Let’s see if I can name some of these Louisvillians. If I miss any, please add to the list.
Joe Regan from GLI
Terry Meiners
Jim Wood from the Convention and Visitors Bureau
JK, founder of Forecastle
Bill Samuels, Makers Mark
Angie Fenton, Voice Tribune

It’s nice…but not something I would post on Facebook…the video does not have an appeal outside of Louisville, as no one would recognize the speakers…having a jocky on a horse would be good, having someone dressed like Colonel Sanders would be good, and for Actor’s Theater, some actors with the Actors Theatre name behind them…Capt. of the Belle of Louisville at the helm, perhaps DIANE SAWYER…wouldn’t she do a spot since there is a huge picture of her on a building downtown?
This is a nice video for locals, but not to spread around world….make it global, Louisville.
Aren’t there more famous people from Louisville willing to do a good deed and not charge for having a quick few second spots in a video to help promote their hometown??????
(Diane Sawyer, where are you???)

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any way you can take away me from that service? Thanks!
